ARDS test deals?

Post by p4ilip » Tue Feb 14, 2017 1:10 pm

I've ordered my go racing pack and need to arrange an ARDS test. Checking on the website it's quite pricey at Knockhill. Does anyone know a more cost effective way to take the test? Can it be done another way rather than go through circuit or direct with an instructor perhaps?

I think you will find it can only be done through a MSA approved organisation, so Knockhill is really the only option in Scotland. It may seem pricey, but you are getting 4 hours of instructor, car, and track time. I don't think you could hire the track for the price.

If you want to race you need to just pay for the test!

medical costs a whack too.

what are you planning on doing? not all racing requires ARDS

I rang and it's actually not so bad as they include the starter pack do it actually works out a bit cheaper cancelling the one I'd bought direct from the MSA this morning. A bit of instruction and track time will no doubt be very useful as well. I'm booked in now.
