Good car transporter recommendations please

Post by jimbo » Sun Jan 29, 2017 1:45 pm

Guys,

I've been taking up space at Craig's (and in the process using up rather a lot of his patience I'd imagine, though he's too polite to say) with my replacement front clam, but what with job pressures and the arrival of a new baby boy I've not been able to organise getting my S1 down to Edinburgh.

Anyone recommend a good transporter up here that I wouldn't have to pay a small fortune to use?

Thanks in advance

James

I used this guy a few years ago to pick a car up from Bristol with no problems.

111Robin was talking about going into this line of work. Not sure if he's up and running yet but worth pinging him a PM. Thread here - http://www.scottishelises.com/phpbb/vie ... =2&t=42431

Hi
A couple of weeks ago I used a chap previously recommended on here to take my Exige from Stonehaven to Murray's. Great service at a reasonable price. He uses a Shogun (I think) and a tilting flat bed trailer. I initially contacted him via email and quickly got a price.

I've dealt with Scott several times - no problems at all.

Spot on thanks guys, that helps a lot!

I've been stockpiling parts as well so just dying to get it all resolved now.

Cheers
