Yokohama Tyres

Post by JohnStewart » Tue Oct 24, 2006 1:39 pm

Not sure if any of the sizes are suitable for Elises/Exiges, other than the 225/45x17 rears on S2 cars, but the SIDC have managed to negotiate a good deal on some Yokohama tyres (including A048s)

Price includes postage and VAT, but no fitting (you have to arrange that yourself). Extra discount if you are an SIDC member. Not sure how the prices compare to elsewhere.

I might be able to see if there are deals on some of the 15/16 inch sizes as well if there was interest ?

Hi John

I need rears currently :thumbsup

Was going to get them from Ronnie after the next SIDC day. Is this anything to do with him?

Hi Andy,

no it's not a deal with Ronnie, it's an exclusive deal with a wholesaler that one of our members has connections with. The prices should be better than most on-line outlets.

Don't know how they compare to Ronnie's prices, which of course include fitting, so I'd certainly shop around.

Cheers for the heads up John but TBH those prices are more than what ronnie charges. :)

Thanks Ed,

I suspected that might be the case, hence the advice for Andy to shop around. Unfortunately, many of our members live down south, so can't benefit from Ronnie's excellent service.

Ed,

I've been asked "What are the sizes and prices involved."

If you know what the sizes and prices that Ronnie quoted for the 48s, then our contact will see what he can do.

Cheers

John
