Never had an MP3 / I Pod but am thinking of getting one.
I recon that there might be one or two of you who know something about them
Few questions:
Looking to get a cheapish one to start with to see if I use it, if I do I would probably get a better one. How much capacity should I get? Recon that I can probably get a 2G one for £50, does that sound reasonable? Any other features I should look for?
I would like to be able to plug it into my separates stereo setup, will I get reasonable quality sound?
Thanks
Graham

Andy's / Shug's new shop is due to open in Buchanan Galleries this weekend (I think).
They'll be best for advise.
I know nothing about MP3s either, and as Louise has asked for one for xmas, I'll be paying them a visit... trusting them that I won't get ripped off

I know fark all about them mate - I've got a 4gig Nano that I like. Not too big to weigh down the suit on the walk back from Court, but has enough tunes on it to keep me out of mischief. My guess is that if you step away from Ipods, you can get far more bang for your buck!

Ed is correct, Glasgow it is.
Am looking to download and play, don’t need massive memory but want enough to stop me wanting to replace it too soon.
Would also like to be able to plug into the separates system on occasion.
Have no idea what I'm doing here so happy to take advice. Probably looking at the cheaper end of the market £50 to £70 but want the best I can get for the cash obviously. If I can’t get something reasonable for that then I’ll have to reconsider my budget.
To be honest if you can tell which one I should buy, I'll order through your web-site or give you my credit card number I’m not too fussed about seeing what I’m getting in advance.
Thanks
Graham
