If I get stuck with it Neil I would happily pass it onto you until I was old enough to drive it, but unfortunately I have just been outbid.

ps:- told Verian and she said fine as long as I can have my sun lounge. Not sure what I did to deserve her.

Mine only cost me a sofa. Not sure it's worth a sun lounger.

mmmmmm, slight concern as my present bid is £38,100 and my max put in near the start was £39,939.

It says reserve not met so I hope that applies to the high bid.

2014 LOTUS EVORA S 3.5 IPS SPORTS RACER IN RED WITH BLACK 8500 MILES FLSH (Item #391366131825)
Seller's NEW reserve price: GBP 39,940.00
(reserve not met)

Your maximum bid is now: GBP 39,939.00
Place a bid of GBP 39,940.00 to meet the reserve.

Officially I am still £1 below the reserve so should not be held to my bid, but I will play safe and withdraw it as the sale conditions have changed.

He listed the car again and it has just finished.

Highest bid was £39,100, I know his reserve was £39,400 from last time but none of the bidders did, so again it has not sold.

Everyone is either missing a bargain or dodging a bullet. I wouldn't be buying without a viewing or an independent inspection. £40k is still a lot of money even if the car is a bargain.

Don't really keep a check on other cars as I will never be buying one, but seemed a good bet to me.
