I always had a dislike for the variety style presenting that Wogan/ Bruce Forsyth /Jimmy Tarbuck and the like had so I avoided Wogans radio show for many years on the back of that, until some of his later radio shows when I realised he was actually quite entertaining. There is no doubt he was one of the big names in television and radio for a long time. RIP
