Paint Shop Recommendations

Post by 111Robin » Fri Nov 20, 2015 10:32 am

I'm looking to have the stone chipped front/sills repainted on my S1, has anyone had this done around Aberdeenshire and would recommend the paint shop ?
Thanks,
Robin

I used Martin Flynn at findon (beside portleathen) he does a lot of the work for specilist cars Aberdeen. Very reasonably priced and an excellent finish, I'm quite pernickety. He does take his time as he's really busy but you can't have it all.

Thanks folks.
Has anyone used Kemnay Autobody before ?. Would be more convenient for me but would still go further afield for better quality.

The guy next door to me has just had his 997 turbo painted at Kintore body shop.

I'm going to need some work done soon so will wait and see his car in daylight.

I used kintore a couple of years ago after it had changed owner, the result was not great and the promised to sort it the issues, in the end it wasn't much of an improvement and I had the bad bits sorted elsewhere. I haven't use kemnay auto body, but a neighbour got some deer damage repaired and was happy with the work.

I'll be interested to know if the Porsche is ok, it wouldn't have been my first choice for that type of car.

I used Kemnay Autobody when the slowda headbutted a low barrier that jumped out of nowhere when I had the bikes on the roof. Very pleased with thecservice and Mark was helpful throughout.

Hope you find somewhere you like
