I love old BMWs, there seems to be a real style and class about them which is lacking nowadays. Like old mercs too, and they really have lost the understated class that they once had. I suppose nowadays we have much safer, more efficient, better built, higher tech cars, so not quite the same, but oh for some of that old school style / character.

Love classic beemers too. I regularly see a 3.0 cs parked up in my village and it is a beautiful thing. At least modern BMWs have now got past the era of Bangle ulglification :)

Funny as I saw an old grey 6 series at the Sainsbury's petrol station last night in Livingston.

They are really cool and would always love one in the garage. Whilst I was ordering the our BMW they had one in Western that was in time warp condition, absolute gorgeous

My diesel donkey and the old 6 series, how things have changed, and not always for the better, unless you crash, want to go fast, want to get loads of mpg, want to listen to music, want to use the phone, need a satnav................

Upping the ante a bit here!

This lovely CSL was parked in my drive for a month a couplew of years ago, and I was lucky enough to get a decent drive of it!

Yes, the registration number is real!! True class!!

Was going to post in unusual spots, but this thread is far more appropriate.

Saw this very tidy CSL on a trip to Ireland a couple of weeks ago.
