Castors are are an optional extra on cars not fitted with the LSD.

(ok, last LSD joke!)

Looks awesome, can't wait to see it in the flesh.

Fascinating seeing it come together. Must say I was under the impression that there was more carbon fibre in its construction. It looks like an ally extruded backbone and rear subframe, then more trad tubular steel making up the side structure, and I guess the floor pan and front and rear bulkheads are the carbon bits? Real mix of construction technologies.

So after what feels like a life time, really only 18 months - it's ready! :-)

Just going through the process of registration with DVLA now, hoping to collect it week after next. 8)

Living up to expectations?

Very sad thread revival. Apparently Zenos placed into administration with staff laid off yesterday :(

They really deserved to do better but I guess they are a microcosm of the problems Lotus still face: niche market, limited number of potential buyers, high development costs, limited margins on low volume cars.

That's a shame, fantastic concept, some great components, but really opens your eyes to just how good Lotus are.

And it shows just how good you need to be to make it in that game.

I feel for the staff. But I feel even more for early development customers...
