Big thanks to Dan at Jude for doing the service and timing belt on my car on Thursday

Excellent service from Dan, who treats your car as if it's his own. All work done as requested and washed too when ready for collection. Add in the drop off and pick-up service to the Metro Centre, as well as a coffee and chat and I doubt anywhere offers a better customer service anywhere, and all at a very reasonable price too.

And the drive there and back isn't too bad either

Edit to add; price for A and timing belt and fuel to get there and back is less than MMC charge for an A

I was chatting to Dan at the Croft track day on Saturday. He was having a hard time piloting his 200bhp Westfield in the wet . Nice bloke, and he will definitely be servicing my car next time.

Ed we need to talk, I could take my car down one day, train back up then take your car down on a sat to pick up mine.

Could do it the other way roudn but I reckon she might be a bit too much for you.

Service coming up in 1500 miles so I think a trip down there might be in order, gives me an excuse to meet up with some mates in Newcastle and go out on the piss

yeah had thought of that too, cant quite make my mind up if i should keep the FLSH intact, guess the money saved means prob not.........

Will it make you more money when you sell? Argument is that there are a percentage of buyers that only look at cars with a main dealer service history, but I'm sure that percentage is getting smaller.

From a costs vs resale perspective, in a lot of cases, I'm sure that specialist service history is no barrier now. Certainly when it's a costs vs service perspective, it's the worlds biggest no-brainer...

and with my ever increasing mileage, (im at 17,600 now) itll be getting worse and worse every day.......

Dan said he was very busy, working 7 days, in between track days

So I'm sure you could get him to do a wee service on a Sat morning..

just had another thought, ive heard stories of lotus doing goodwill fixes after the 20,000 mile/2 years is up. does anyone know whether or not me going elsewhere would make this less likely? i fear its probably going to be yes.

anyone got any first hand experience with this?

mate, need we remind you abou AndyG's 'goodwill' fix? I believe their idea of goodwill involves a large wadge of your cash!
