Wings on a Golf

Post by pete » Fri Jun 12, 2015 7:47 am

Do you think in order to replace teh wings on a Golf a bodyshop would need to remove the wheels?

(The Golf's front wings were replaced under warranty and now I can't find the locking wheel nut key - they said they would have left the wheels on. I mean it could have been me but...)

I'd be surprised if they left them in. How would they access the inner arch areas to remove / refit the bolts for the panels?

Exactly this. No way they'd have the clearance for access.
