I have some used tyres if that's any help? Free to a good home.

Another thought, if desperate I can lend you rear wheels off the 2-11?

The tyre didn't look that worn, do you really need two ao48's? Not just one?

I have a garage full of tyres in various states of wear that you could have for the asking, though of course I am in Edinburgh which is not very convenient ...

Cheers,

Thanks Ali and thanks Robin.

I've ordered two rears and will have them fitted next week.

Maybe I could have just replaced one but it seemed right to get the pair.

I'm hoping the valeting / detailing bloke can come to my house on Monday too.

Last couple of days, I've been using Discovery to get to work; DAB radio which I'm actually able to hear, heated seats and heated steering wheel, easy to get in and out, don't feel bumps or ruts ...

... and I've been desperately missing the; cold; loud, leaky car that gives me a sore back.

I think there must be a bit of a "hair shirt" thing going on with me. :blackeye

I'm at Knockhill on Saturday and Sunday. Ronnie from Wheels Around will be there who is a yoko dealer. I could take the wheels down and take them back with 2 new rears fitted if you wanted?

Yeah, his wife phoned me so I could pay with a debit card.

She told me the total and I said; "... are you sure?"

Really good price. :thumbsup
