'ring

Post by greyrigg » Mon Apr 13, 2015 6:04 pm

At the 'ring with Mrs J who did her first ever lap of a track. Unfortunately we're here in her Z4 and the boot is full Moselle wine[SMILING FACE WITH OPEN MOUTH AND SMILING EYES]

Weather and conditions perfect, track quiet and Z4 not bad for a hair dresser's car. Now beer and steak on a stone.

:beer

We were there last August - No lap due to torrential rain, a car full of luggage, and a driver knackered after 8 hours at the wheel...But we did manage a steak on a stone at the Pistenklause.

Enjoy :thumbsup

Loved the 'ring back in the good old days. First trip with Robin, Kelvin, Boag, Father G, Scotty the salamander slayer, AliG, BobVanM was an absolute blast and was the trip where WankR was born

What type of wine did you buy Malcolm?
(Avoiding the obvious opportunity to get Scotty into trouble..so close to his wedding)

We had great wee road trip in the gaylord special. It wasn't that bad on the 'ring.

The only circuit Mrs J has been round is the 'ring, first as a passenger many years ago on trip with Kelvin, Peter Bennett and others I can't remember and this time driving. Unfortunately she loved it and wants to go back for more...........

The wine purchases were your usual typical Moselle white stuff, not to my taste but hay ho, got to go with the flow.

No Aston on track but there were 3 Aventadors being thrashed by Lamborghini people, fantastic :D

I am now wondering why I haven't been heading out there so often lately, need to get back in the habit.
