Reading up on osmosis the voids in the fibreglass are pretty much unavoidable. They trap moisture over time that combines with other elements to cause a weak acid and bubbles.
When stored outside these bubbles are most and visible. When stored inside they dry up but the acid becomes crystalline. When the fibreglass goes back outside the crystals attract moisture more quickly than the original formation process and the bubbles will re appear.
Basically once they are there we are stuck with them.
On the good side it is just a cosmetic problem and easily masked by plenty of stone chips :-)
If you're not living on the edge you're wasting too much space!
