Ian's Audi TTS for sale.

Post by tut » Fri Dec 05, 2014 8:42 pm

Ian had it on PH for £16.2K but a chap from Yorkshire offered him £16.8K, guess he really wanted it.

He has already transferred the money and is travelling up from Yorkshire by train tomorrow.

guess he hasn't got to grips with haggling. :damnfunny

( just make sure there no way he can reverse the transaction).

Think that I have it all covered, Ian actually knocked £200 off the price to cover his cost of traveling up.

Pretty much the same scenario as when I picked up new N3 from Keith in Bath.

Wow, must look well...

Good cars but I read 16.2 and see 15 in my mind.

WBAC.com offered £15K which he could have taken as a last resort, and that was for a standard car, not one with every option on it.

It was also in line with other cars on PH and Autotrader, although I appreciate that is not normally what a buyer would pay.

WBAC also specialise in knocking you down from the quote they provided (even if the car is a described when you got the quote). They know people usually want rid and play on it.

They tried it before with Clare's Ford Ka.

Big mistake...........you don't mess with Clare.
