Fancy getting more of a howl if possible from my S2 and wondering what the best route would be? I know its a 4 pot so will never achieve the howl like a flat 6 or v6 but the k series does have a nice grunt when allowed to breathe a bit more.
What should I do?

Cheapest option is a K&N filter, great induction noise -as you can pay several hundred and not get any noticeable power increase so go with the K&N knowing its not actually making it faster but you feel as if it is.

I ditched my K&N open filter for a closed design to try and reduce the noise. I couldn't hear anything else over the induction roar.

I've got tinnitus from years of DJing so maybe the induction kit isn't the best option then. Maybe just a sports exhaust on its own as the noise would be generally directed rearwards.

Personally I didnt find the K&N too bad and it is quiet on trailing throttle or off the gas whereas that can be where a sports exhaust can drone. Down to preference really.......

You can still get an induction kit, just don't buy an open filter type. There are loads of enclosed filter options from Pipercross, Huracane etc.
