Journey to Le Mans film

Post by DJ » Wed Nov 12, 2014 3:37 pm

Anyone else go to their local Vue cinema last night to see this premier followed by the live Q&A? Wasn't very popular in Edinburgh. Apart from me and a mate, only 6 others in the whole cinema!

There is a directors cut bring shown on itv4 on 24 Nov. Otherwise it's a straight to DVD job I understand.

Good if not quite in the Senna league. Team Jota have a good story to tell from this season, but it's a bit overdone with Patrick Stewart over dramatising the narrative and some crappy soundtracks. Makes me keep an eye out in the future for a young driver called Harry Tincknell. Main detraction was how team owner Simon Dolan came across. But worth a watch, especially if you have been to Le Mans and bound to be better than most stuff on the TV on 24th.
