Er, that's quite horrible. Reminds me of the MG B V8 thing Rover re-launched.

im not sure either. its a bit fussy in places. i bought the wifes golf off a lad that was mates with Ian Callum. he owned a one off XK something or other convertible that was built for IC. british racing green with a horrific full red interior and a daft spoiler. he wasn't really fit to get in and out of it but 'made' me get in, start it up and rev the tits off it while cold. sounded awesome and pleased him no end but i just felt sorry for the poor car.

It all goes wrong with the bumpers. I love it,... other than those bumpers!

Yep - I do love that. Nice looking thing. IMO, of course, as is the case with all personal taste :thumbsup

I really want to like it but I agree with you, I wanted it to be like one of those companies that make old Porsches look lovely, (is it Singer?) but it all goes a bit wrong somewhere...

Totally. Love the idea, but not the execution. Still reckon the coolest MK2 is the Withnail one.Image

Father G and Myself went to school with the two Callum brothers .... So obviously anything they design in the automotive world is fabulous!

Ian had a very spectacular sounding XK when he came back for Speech day a couple of years back
You could here it coming over the Drummond Castle Gates standing at the School Esplanade two miles away

:cheers
