Not getting the bit about being in limited control of the vehicle,are we to assume that this is because he didn't have any shoes on.......BS if so IMHO of course.
I don't think it affects my ability to operate the foot controls by not wearing shoes.....is there any law being broken here........apart from speeding.Can't see how that could be made to stick and I would have fought that bit on principle.

I don't think that they even noticed Robin, they did not even bother about the numberplates when I took them off so they could actually see the original ones.

You could argue that bare feet giver greater control with more feeling, really can't see it as an issue. Do they make a song and dance about Ladies wearing totally inappropriate shoes while driving
As for 8 points and a £500 fine, I thought an automatic ban would be handed out here.
