West Wing repeat.

Post by tut » Sun Aug 17, 2014 5:13 pm

The whole of it being shown again on Sky Go.

Just watching the Pilot which I am not sure I saw first time around, but 15 years now since I first watched the Show and it was one of the best programs to go on TV. However it got lost in the later Series when Martin Sheen dropped out so will cut out those ones.

Fantastic TV, the writing did get a little worse once Aaron Sorkin left but the Santos for President series were still very good imo.

I remember watching either the pilot or the 1st episode and thinking it was rubbish all the way through, until Martin Sheen walked in near the end, then suddenly it all made sense.

Other Aaron Sorkin written series are well worth a watch too.
Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip was amazing, but was cancelled after 2 series - it's a bit like the West Wing in a TV studio..

The Newsroom is also fantastic, with 2 existing series, and a 3rd and final to come - it's a bit like the West Wing in a News studio ;)
'16 MINI Cooper S - Family fun hatch
'98 Lotus Elise - Fun day car
'04 Maserati Coupe GT - Manual, v8, Italian...
'18 Mazda Mx5 - The wife's, so naturally my daily
'19 Ducati Monster 797 - Baby bike bike

Watched both those as well, Jeff Daniels was excellent in the News Room.

Spotted that on NOWTV (skygo) too.

Superb series. Just started watching it for the first time a couple of years back. Brilliant. .... shame about the end credit music :D
