I stopped next to the 6x6 on Sunday - my eye level was about the bottom of the doors

The way they boot it about the streets round there is laughable - I'm surprised there aren't more incidents like the Aventador smash. A guy in a speciale pulled out in front of me on a narrow street and redlined it though 3 gears - that must be nudging 80?

Parking tickets don't work, so why do they not just tow them away as they would with our cars?

I don't think the councils have liability insurance cover to lift vehicles of that value onto flatbeds.

I saw a Channel 4 programme last year on locals concerns about the cars speeding around the area. There was a guy with an Aventador that was stopped by a policeman on a pushbike and couldn't provide suitable proof of insurance. They came and loaded his car onto a flatbed. Perhaps the police don't have the same liability as the councils.

Turned out his insurance was fine.

I'm talking about the crane ones that they use round here to take away parked cars. The ones they do take away are the roadside stops onto a recovery lorry and they have keys etc.

Surprised the council haven't whacked in a load of traffic calming measures like large speed bumps and narrowing of the road, that would sort them out easily.

Would it matter? Just as they do not pay their fines, how would the Arabs sue against damage to their cars when causing an obstruction?

Try doing a similar thing in their Country and see where you end up.

The amount of money these people spend in the area means the councils won't do a jot to scare them off.

The risks are more than worth the income to them.
