Sensationalist strory but max fine for speeding could be 10k.

I suppose if you are facing the possibility of a £10k fine you are also probably getting a ban too so sale of the car should cover the fine and what's left will do for bus fares :?

The government is skint.
We aren't to far away from 'doing a greece'
Apparently the interest on their loan is in the billions.
They are going to screw every single penny they can out of everyone from the poor to the almost rich. The really rich will be fine as always, but the rest of us is screwed.
Look through the news storys, lots of hints about what is coming.

Not sure we can put much store in hints from the media.

Agree that speeding fines are up though.

And as for parking charges at Edin Airport...don't get me started.
