Susie Wolff

Post by tut » Fri Apr 04, 2014 5:08 pm

Hate to say it, but she is doing a few of the practice sessions that are coming up, one of them at Silverstone, and I fear that it could be embarrassing.

I hope not, would love to see her be able to compete with some of the bottom runners, Chilton being one, but I can not see it.

Formula Renault 5th overall.

Formula 3 nowhere, ankle injury part way through

DTM best ever finish over several years 10th place.

GP2 never competed.

There is no way she would be in any F1 team if it was not for her being a woman.

you're probably right. Although, woman or not, if she's hanging off the back end she wont last the season

When hubby owns 16% of the team? Or did he sell up?

ah. i thought he was employed there. not much different to her male pay per drive counterparts then

id like her to do well. anything to help spice up the boredom that it currently is. rarely can i sit through a whole race these days.

You'd have to pay me to watch F1 and even then it'd be hard work.

I think Simona De Silvestro is probably a better bet. Still don't think she will cut it but she had some decent races in Indycar.

Director of something associated iirc.

If it encourages other girls/women to get involved it can only be a good thing.

Probably no different to several of the drivers in current teams, money and connections rather than pure talent. Sadly I think her appearances may do more damage than good to women in F1.
