We sat at the bottom of eau rouge was something special 1st couple of laps watching a frenzied pack of F1 cars storm up that stretch of Tarmac . There's concrete stadium seating before the bend at the bottom of eau rouge but we sat right on the bend on the scaffold type seating you can see everything from turn one to top of eau rouge plus there was a large screen straight in front . We did wait a long time to leave the circuit as we were told bernie had bribed the police to let his buses out first. Great venue has a real feel about it enjoy.

Stu,

Another thumbs up for Eau Rouge.

Don't know whether you have accommodation sortd but we stayed in this gem which is about 30mins from the circuit and has some lovely back road blasts. The accommodation is self catering (they also have a camping area which we did not investigate)

not been to a F1 race but ive been round the track when ive not been racing and the stand accross from the old pits is the best for watching. if you can pic the right seat you will see over the top of en rouge.

Ive cycled, moped, walked round it a few times. Ive also done a superman on a scooter doing 60 down en rouge pissed as a fart.

Forgot to say that we normally get our tickets from http://www.bookf1.com/ as we have always managed to get good seats with these guys.

Did Spa F1 GP some time ago with my dear lady.

Anywhere near Eau Rouge is gonna be good.

:thumbsup for bookf1. Used a few times. No issues. Good price. Tickets arrive when they say they will. :thumbsup

If you have not decided on anywhere to stay you could do worse than Monschau;

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monschau

It is a little wee german village, just across the border, tucked down a hole in the countryside and getting to Spa on race day is a caker. 30 Mins max, no traffic, back roads and scenery to die for. not overfun with F1 fans. Some cracking atmospheric old hotels, and it is also not in Belgium :D :D
