BMW bike valuation

Post by tut » Sun Mar 23, 2014 1:34 pm

Susie is now back home from Kees funeral in Amsterdam and is putting his bike up for sale. She has had a quote from WBAB.com but I believe that a couple of you actually had this model and could give me a more realistic valuation. As she has enough on her plate at present I will try and sell it for her but a price indication would be useful.

Webuyanybike.com gave you a quote of £5,465 (this is valid for today) for your BMW R1200 GS ADVENTURE (R1200 GS Adventure (08MY) 2008 to 2010 ) for which you gave the following information:

Bike details:

Make: BMW
Model: R1200 GS ADVENTURE (R1200 GS Adventure (08MY) 2008 to 2010 )
Registration:
Registration Year: 2009
Registration Letter/Period: 58
Condition: Excellent
Mileage: 8,000 miles
Colour: silver
Previous owners: 1
Other info: Bike was originally registered in the Netherlands, imported officially to UK 9/2013.
MOT and Road Tax valid until 30/9/2014

Did a check on PH and eBay and they were coming out at £7-£8K, but usually with more mileage.

Cheers
