Holiday Villa Recommendations...

Post by DDtB » Mon Feb 10, 2014 2:26 pm

Hi folks,

4 of us are looking to get a villa this summer, somewhere nice and sunny, for a couple of weeks.

Last year we got an awesome place in southern Spain with a huge amount of outdoor area. It had it's own pub area, pool, giant bed, chill out couch zones etc. Woman who owned it was head of BP Europe or something, so it was pretty amazing.

The only negative was that it was at the top of a mountain. Stunning views and very private, but meant you had to drive 10 mins to get down to the bottom and all the pubs and stuff.

So this year we're looking to find something similar, but ideally within walking distance of a decent pub. Only sleep in the villa itself so outside space is probably more important than inside.

Anyone recommend anywhere at the end of June ? Spain, Italy, Greece, Maldives etc?? .. ideally as warm and sunny as possible without spending a ridiculous amount!

Cheers,

Dave.

:cheers

If you do not get a personal recommendation for a Villa Dave, we have been using this company for fifteen years, and regretted the few times that we did not use them.

I have used http://www.villaparade.co.uk quite a few times for Majorca but they have properties elsewhere to suit all tastes/budgets :thumbsup

We have always used Alasdair Sawday's Special Places to Stay

http://www.sawdays.co.uk/

Admit we have usually gone for the B&B/Hotel options rather than the self catering but if they are like the B&B/Hotels then they will be excellent accomodation. Not once have I been disappointed when using their recommendations.

Hit up ownersdirect http://www.ownersdirect.co.uk/ - you'll find some quality finds on there, and save yourself a good few pennies!

La Manga is brilliant
You need a car tho.

Two negatives make a positive but only in Scotland do two positives make a negative - 'Aye right.'
