Clearview 650

Post by Stephen » Sun Feb 09, 2014 6:13 pm

Just purchased a clearview 650 which is a rear flue only. Before I cut a hole in the top to fit a flue, does anyone have one with a blanking plate who would prefer an uncut top?

Let me know

Hell of a lot of stoves out there Stephen, I bought a 30KW one which was the largest output that I could find.

It has top and rear outlets which I thought most did, so was wondering why you chose one with a rear flue only.

It was off of gumtree. The clearview stoves are fantastic and for all it will cost to have the top plasma cut it was a bargain. I have another the same which came with a blanking piece to allow rear or top fitment.

Ah so, some great buys from Gumtree. You would have paid a fraction of the new price.

Aye £1k saving v a £20 alteration to the top!
It was a no brainer.
Been busy building a garage - making it high enough to fit a ramp so will do some southern spanner and sponge sessions this summer.
Can't wait to work on the Liz without the driveway stones in my back.
