The Boag figures probably reflect "real" mileage so where a normal Porsche will easy cover 12k p/a and the buying market will not wince, try doing that in a Lotus and suddenly your car is a lot less desirable on the open market.
You are correct............Figures are for 3yrs/30,000 miles
As stated by Graeme above, the Lotus residuals have indeed outperformed most of the other marques. However a contributory factor of this must be due to the fact that they have not been producing cars in any great number coupled with the fact that owners tend to keep them longer.
I would envisage that residuals may soften if the Exige production ramps up.
