Ford Tourneo Connect

I feel strangely drawn to one of these, ideal for lugging the bike around the country cheap as chips :)

Reminds me off something that was on top gear eons ago it was a Nissan something that was pitched "At an active person who has just left college, doesn't have a lot of money" it was a boxy thing with rubber floor mats /carpet and in the US it was selling for £10k

It wasn't available in the UK :(

We have a Caddy Maxi Kombi at work which is pretty handy, MASSIVE boot for the size of it plus seats 5 in comfort and drives like a car.

Main reason for me not having one it that it can not carry the weight I require otherwise I would probably have one myself over the Transporter. Its also about 10k cheaper than the Transporter

Get a Sportline Caddy if your going for one :thumbsup

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

The article quotes the Citroen's Berlingo, Renault's Scenic & the Fiat Doblo as it's main rivals. We had a Citreon C3 Picasso as a hire car out in Majorca which was equally as boxy and served us well :thumbsup

Not a Nissan, t'was the Honda Element. Oh, and I've had plenty of use of a C3 Picasso in Shetland and once the novelty wears off, it's crap

Mum has a VW caddy maxi life 1.4 diesel with the 7 speed DSG box. It's very good, much better than the previous gen kangoo she had before.

Wouldn't mind one for bikes and as a practical daily driver, nice place to be in.
