25 years since Clare was born, but still remember sitting there holding Verian's hand and telling her not to be such a wimp.
However many years before that in Singapore on the first marriage, got the message that Pam was about to produce in the Military Hospital, I was at a Mess dining in night so jumped into the TR4 pissed as a newt, went straight across the roundabout on Orchard road, and ended up in the same Hospital but a different Ward.
Still can not work out why she divorced me.
