I fitted a Hormann door about 14 years ago. No real problems, I did have to replace the motor, but a pretty easy job and easily available. The door is sectional and goes up un a sliding frame to sit flat across the roof of the garage. My garage is under the living room so I was trying to keep it reasonably sealed. The door is insulated and seals all the way around including between the panels. I also put insulation below the concrete floor, worth considering if you want to keep the chill off. It's a nice place to work in winter - no heating as such but the underfloor heating manifold is in the garage and keeps it 14 to 16 deg most of the time.
