Clio 172 Repair

Post by douglasgdmw » Tue Sep 17, 2013 11:34 am

Folks,

Friend had a bit of an off at the Doune hill climb in their 172 and is looking to someone to have a look to check the damage.

Just wondering whether anyone can recommend a good garage (that does not cost the earth) that can look at a 172 (ideally in the Borders is possible) as their car may have suffered some chassis damage (and definite body damage)?

Obviously as it's hill climb damage it will be a not be covered by Insurance so will have to come out of their own pockets.

Thanks

Any pics of the damage?

if its front end most of the parts are bolt on bolt off, so would make for a simple DIY job before sending to a paint shop for finishing etc?

mind you, knowing doune, its likely to be all 4 corners !

Don't have any pics. I was hoping that it would just be toe links etc but I think they are wanting confirmation from a decent garage that there is no further damage.

Really unfortunate as it was their 1st hill climb with the new car as they changed from the Seat Ibiza to be a bit more competitive :(
