For my parents golden wedding I -

Grabbed one of their wedding photos out of the album without them knowing.
Got hold of the latest picture i could find of them together.
Got them made in to one photo (about 4 x 10) - by Nick (can't remember his last name, had a green 7,lived near Ellon) - Couldn't find a commercial place that would do it as wedding photo was under copyright according to them (after 50 years FFS!).

Managed (with a bit of difficulty) to source a golden frame of the right size.
Presented to them at party.

For your parents you could try a scenic helicopter tour.

Mum would never get on/in a 'copter, she sh*ts it enough that her "baby" uses them for work!

Same for a microlight, thanks all the same Jim plus you can't take two pax

They came to see me once at a track day, and just happened to be parked near the hairpin and saw me spinning off (rare occurence, I know) much to Dad's amusement

And Tony - my big sis has the picture frame thing covered, we were gonna get pics of my kids
