Tough Mudder 2013 (NLC)

Hi All

Apologies for spamming the board somewhat!

I enrolled into our company's team to take part in Tough Mudder 2013 a few months ago.

We've all been training hard for the event which takes place at Dalkeith Country Park on 24th August. My training was cut short with some knee ligament damage sustained at 5-a-side footie in February, but am now back on the trail running at lunch times and playing sit-ups and press-ups with wee Cameron as ballast!

We're raising money for a charity close to a colleagues heart - Help for Heroes.

Just a small appeal if anyone has 2 minutes and a couple of pounds to spare we would really appreciate your support for a very worthwhile charity. The amount donated means a lot to the charity - but more so the number of contributors will really spur us all on to the end!

Tough Mudder mission complete

Managed to complete all obstacles (including Trench Warfare and Boa Constrictor which I was really worried about). Gutted at the monkey bars - managed all the way across only for the last one to spin on me and drop me in the murky waters. Arctic Enema - I've never been in water as cold as that - mind boggling what it does to you physically and mentally.

Great day, great fun and great cause.

My body hurts!
