Re: Frank Profera's Exige.
Nice. Would be good to him and King-K together for a "debate"
Both equally passionate about their car/theories

I would suggest one of them actually makes stuff happen, then talks about it from a position of having done the job, got the Tee-shirt, etc.
the other talks endlessly with nothing real to show for it.
Re: Frank Profera's Exige.
I spoke with frank for ages about cars and when speaking to Simon he came across as having the same sort of passion verging on madness. Trouble is that franks sh*t is backed up 100%, there's no messing. I'd hoped/hoping he was gonna prove us wrong with the 160 engine, let's see.Scuffers wrote:you think?mikeyb13 wrote:Nice. Many years ago, we all gave him the benefit of the doubt, but now some 10 years later..... just how long a piece of rope do you have to give somebody?r10crw wrote: I spoke with frank for ages about cars and when speaking to Simon he came across as having the same sort of passion verging on madness. Here's a quote from him that's at least 5 years old:
I think that pretty much say's it all.... (kind of like a where are they now thread)Jonny Walker, Norman Phillips, Mark Bowles, Martin Bloxham, and Uldis, all have cars with my engines running round now for you to cross swords with on track, and I bet they'll all be quicker than a reasonably standard Elise/Exige on A048s , with a na honda. There are 3 1.8L engines going in now that you can fence with next year, and then there are the 1.9Ls and 2.0Ls which are a whole other story...............
Frank Profera's Exige.
Uldis did post some pics of a balanced flywheel iirc and his Exige is not tardy.

Re: Frank Profera's Exige.
I know Simon, I watched all this happen over on Seloc etc but it didnt happen here so feel he has to be given the benefit of the doubt for Scottish elises. This way people on SE can make up their own unpredjudiced minds. Im pretty sure the way its heading anyway....
