Acceleration away to leave everyone was stunning.
With these performances this is why I stick to my theory that Wiggo wasn't going to play 2nd fiddle to this guy!
Wiggo had Froome as an epic wingman...Froome doesn't have that this year although...Porte did a great job yesterday.

By the way, Quintana...23 years old....face looks like he's in his 40s!!

Yesterday was incredible. Porte did well as did Kennaugh but Frome was just on a different planet.
Focus ST estate, i3s and more pushbikes than strictly necessary.

....did i ever tell you about the Evora and VX220 i used to own?

I hope and pray Vroom is not taking any banned substances. Looking at his physique I suspect he is actually 'from' another planet. There is nothing to the guy other than a massive set of thighs. Everything else is tiny. Arms, chest even his calf muscles are non existant which is wierd, even for a climber. I surely hope that they have applied serioius science to the development of his body to make him a supreme athlete, not simply developed better drugs than the doping authorities have detectors.

They just never seem to learn.

Tyson Gay and Asafa Powell now joined the junkies.

Super impressed with RIchie Porte yesterday.
Fantastic ride.
Froome just has to survive today and tomorrow with Sunday hopefully being a formality.

Agree totally. Ritchie Porte has been just amazing, giving everything to support Froome.

Just Annecy Semnoz today, then fingers crossed a triumphant final day in Paris for Froome. I rode up Semnoz just 2 weeks ago and it is BIG. Froome could well be the first guy since Merckx to win the tour and the King of the Mountains. No one else has done that, not even drugged up Pantani or Armstrong. Amazing.

Just back from 4 stages in the Alps. Great at 2.5km to go to summit of L'Alpe for 2 laps with a Flanders party tent a few yards away stirring up a big atmosphere and conga. Shame for Tejay after bravely leading up both laps only to get pipped to summit each time.

Watched Cav warm up at start at Bourg where he was relaxed without the pessure of a sprint and was really good with the kids etc.

Despite the huge Brit contingent, Sky were booed every time they went past - it was like watching football!

Well done Chris and Richie.

We had a great day in a wee village on stage 16 ( Vaison - Gap ). Atmosphere was brilliant and we got a wave from Dave Brailsford when he spotted our Union Flag.

Sitting watching the prep for the final on France 2 8)

Impressed by richie porte, quintana and, of course, froome :D
