RIP

I googled it a couple of minutes ago and found this clip.

Not sure if the red car on the right just after he goes off had dropped fluid on the kerb or not?

I thought it was pretty much standard that events were cancelled when there was a fatality nowadays so was surprised to see them fix the barrier and carry on.

I would think every driver would want to event to continue if it happened to them so is probably the right call but it must be difficult not to let it affect your drive.

Looks like hitting a wet paint and fish tailed into the wall...... RIP

I don't know driving in another way which isn't risky. Each one has to improve himself. Each driver has its limit. My limit is a little bit further than other's.

So sad. I was viewiing at corner before accident and could see the activity in the distance. Now race is finished lots of dedications to Simonsen. Lots of safety cars but truly awesome racing.

Ps. Mass has it right in his assessment of what happened. Lots of talk here that there was a tree right behind Armco so no give. :(
