Help - missing front clam hatch - White S1

Post by Andy G » Sat May 04, 2013 9:16 am

Morning Everyone

Just had a call form the team in Alford this weekend to say they have lost the front "clam hatch" (i.e. the bit that you release on a catch to access the battery etc) from the race car on the way up the A90/Bypass/A1!

They have no idea where it made its bid for freedom, but we are now missing it. It could be in 400 bits or it may have yet another war wound on it and still be intact.

Either way if anyone is on one of these roads this weekends and sees it, I'd be hugely greatful for it back!

Why does this always happen when i dont make the journey.......

Andy, I can get the one off Jamie's car if you are stuck.

Hey Tut

Thanks for that. I think we will be okay without it it's now trying to find a replacement!

Believe it fell off south of Dundee from what I've been told.

Weird one that Andy, if it became unscrewed it should have just fallen down into the bay, but i suppose it could have gone through a space and onto the road.

South of Dundee? You could be lucky.

In Dundee? Forget it ;-)

Do they not travel with several rolls of white gaffa tape?
