Looking to do a Rally experience day for a bit of sideways fun and wondering if anyone had any recommendations for somewhere in Scotland?
Have done the KH one a few years back so would like to try somewhere else this time.

(that's why I think Mike will do fine, that and his lack of imagination).

For a genuine rally experience, I think Knockhill is the only place in Scotland. If venturing south, try Chris Birkbeck or Bill Gwynne

Search for the Scottish Forest rally School. Run by a guy called Tommy Makin appropriatly enough. Has a number of RWD Escorts and a strip of Forest in Dumfriesshire. Not sure if it's still on the go TBH as it's a few years since I've been in that circle of people, but well worth a call to find out.

Have done the Knockhill one, wasn't the best IMHO.
Look forward to hearing about it!

We did the KH one a few years ago, Mrs Pete (8 months pregnant at the time) asked the instructor if they used the cars to run a minicab company at weekends...
I'd be interested, let me know what you find out.
I did one at Silverstone a long time ago, good cars, great instructors, very little time in the actual car....

I agree. I wasnt very impressed, but it was in the days of the Sierra. The cars were tired and the course is restricted and not the best. I would venture elsewhere if possible.

Did anyone find out more about the 'Scottish Forest rally School' - is it still on the go?
