I am planning to join in with them again for their annual three day run, and came across a resurrected thread from eight years ago.
Made me feel quite emotional.

Re: VX.org Highland Hoon
lol.... a legend in many circles.
I remember being down at the National VX220 meet last year and some people were talking about you on the hoon. A few other people from down south started saying things like "Tut? The crazy old barsteward with bare feet?". Sounds like you've met quite a few people over the years on euro road trips and track days. You certainly made a lasting impression that's for sure.
I'll be there again this year, but the VX220 is now gone
, so I'll be in the MX5 super-shed. Not sure if I'll have enough time to get the ITB conversion done before then, but the suspension, brakes and exhaust will all be changed ready for chasing the pack!
