Jackie Stewart tonight.

One of the greatest drives of all time in '68. After his hero Jim Clark was killed, in a new car and team with Tyrrell, he won the Ring by a lap in conditions that they would not be allowed to start the race today.

Both programmes marred by the over-indulgence of Stewart & Martin. I appreciate I sound old and sh*t thesedays but I preferred the old Clark/Hill/Stewart documentaries of four or so years ago.

Agreed, Martin should stick to cooking.

Yer a tough crowd, as always... ;)

I enjoyed it, even if most of it has been said many times before. Very envious of Martin's chance to drive fifteen laps of Monza in the Tyrrell... a profound experience for any petrol head, I'd imagine 8)

Watched it this afternoon, enjoyed despite Martin.

McRae tonight I think, not sure who is presenting. Will be different with the subject absent & a very different attitude to Stewart.

I've really enjoyed both program's, I thought James did alright, he's a true petrol head, i think he even owns an ex F1 car. The last one about Colin McRae is being presented by Will Hoy I think.

Thanks for tip off, Tut. Too much going on to pay much attention to tv listings so I'd have missed these.

I enjoyed both productions, with due respect to Greg and Dom's prefs of course. Inspired me to continue reading Jackie Stewart's book, which I'd run out of steam for TBH.
