PM's

Post by mac » Mon Sep 18, 2006 4:35 pm

Can everyone have a wee check that they have some system in place for making sure they are alerted when a new PM arrives.

Cheers

Should be a popup notification set up as standard when you sign up. You can also choose to have email notification.

If you opt out of email notification, make sure that you don't have anything installed in your browser which blocks popups from this site (you can make it a safe site - we'll never have popup advertising.)

It's up to everyone whether they turn that on or not, some people like it others don't.

When I said "system" I wasn't meaning that they either have the e-mail notification or pop up working. Personally mine alerts to the work's e-mail address and I just when I log in and out.

Nope... read that three times and it still doesn't make sense.... :?

Do you mean you just check at the top of the forum when you log in and you don't have popup or email notification activated? If so, why are you asking that everyone else does?

FWIW, I use the popup system, because I'm too likely to miss the wee script up top telling me I've got new messages.
