It's only a 177BHP though so dunno what the explanation will be, however I imagine it will not be cheap!!!!

That's a damn good idea about the word doc! I'm already planning a
trip to Dan next year when my service is due!

I have just passed an MOT with a CAT that rattles like a fecker, at Masterfit of all places. Tell them you will source a Cat from else where and someone will fit it for you (An hour or so!) then re-test. Job's a carrot!

Is it stored air-tight and warm/dry ?

My understanding (possibly incorrect :roll: ) is that an un-used cat can go 'off' if not stored correctly, the air and damp can affect the 'inside bits that do the work'. (that last bits a technical term, hope you understand it okay :D )

Well I phoned back today to get a progress report, and suprise suprise they still have no idea (apparently its only failing by 0.1), so the receptionist says it SHOULD be next week which is what I was told last Friday. Still off out for free beer care of my work, so hopefully that will dull my annoyance for a bit
