Still love the look of the Cobra. Even the reps like Dax, Pilgrim and GD are pretty decent looking. A few good stories (and myths) come with the car and Carroll Shelby too like the UK motorway speed limit and the test drives with passengers trying to grab the $100 bill from the dash under acceleration.

Such a shame, I love the Shelbey Cobra, was lucky enough to get a shot in an original. Thats a car I'd love to buy one day.

always loved the cobra also. moray motor museum has a couple of the pre shelby, bristol engined AC Ace's(also a load of other cracking cars there). worth a look. stunning car but lacks the muscle of the big arched Cobra. Had a look round the shelby museum in vagas in 2010. It was a bit better than the moray motor museum!

RIP Shelby. I've always loved the Cobra but let's not forget his other creations. The Mustang GT500 is up there as an all time classic too.
It's been a while since I was in, I'll hve to take Finlay in next time we're in Elgin.

true! did have a wee scone and a cup of tea in decora afterwards Its good to see pretty much all the cars in there are roadworthy as well. they get used for rallies and historic racing at goodwood and the likes. a lot of them have some great history. raced by jackie stwart, competed inn le-man, miglia, goodwood wins etc
