Bought a newer BMW touring yesterday so need to eBay a few things and looking for any opinions before I do.
Has anyone found using the iPhone line out to connect to the car's AUX 3.5mm jack (as below) any better than just using the IPod headphone out with a 3.5mm to 3.5mmm lead either in sound quality or volume terms ?
Also looking to buy some cheap protection film for putting along back bumper. Any ebay recommendations or people to avoid as there are loads advertised ?
We have a dog that jumps into the hatch, no problem with previous model as it had black plastic trim along it but now it is body coloured bumper so will scratch and mark up badly.

I got some E-Tech Door Sill Guard stick on strip from Halfords for about a tenner and use it on my door sills and my rear boot sill. Works well but does shrink a bit in cold weather. Took a bit of fiddling to get it fit the rear of my Astra Sport due to the rear sill shape. I do like those Rearguards though and might just get one as it looks better.
Anyway here is a link to the Halfords stuff if you want cheaper option
