well, seing as the series is being run in conjunction with Motor sport vision, it'd be safe to assume that they'll use the MSV circuits of brands hatch, snetterton, cadwell park and oulton park.

so "coming to a track near you" should have the caveat "providing you don't live north of the border"

thought so.

Mac
why so bitter sounding?? LoT is run by Paul Golding in his free time, not for profit. 99% of its members are based in england. 99% of the racers will be english. The majority of race series in this country are in england.

If SE was to start its own race series, do you honestly think it would be any different????

Also, LoT run a hell of a lot of trackdays abroad, just because there not in scotland, doesnt mean they dont travel.

Cheers Giles. Another great offer of support. :D

We've got all winter to sort stuff out. But if Ali gets a Caterham and moves into racing (here's hoping) ... we could get a few bodies together and it really would be a team effort. Get all the guys from here to help out when they can and lend a hand at the meetings.... would also make for some good weekends away. Then the costs would come down for everyone and we could get a decent awning to pit in etc. Hopefully we could talk Thin and Fd into it too.

Then work out what series to do...750MC, Northern Sports and Saloons... or ever the dreaded SMRC if they get a decent set of rules together for 07.

Then it really would be a Team SE. :D

Ali... give me a shout next time your down this way and you can have a good look/ shot in the car.

Will do Gordon but it looks increasingly likely I'll be away for a 2 year expat stint in Lagos (I had an iternal interview yesterday). I'd be back working in Aberdeen for a few days every 6 weeks or so in between trips to Oslo, Bristol, Houston etc. Good news is it would pay off the mortgage and leave plenty for a nice tow car and CSR... :)
