Agreed it's a learning curve, and not blowing my own trumpet (much) it was a reasonably tough act to follow...more through product knowledge and market awareness than anything else - it took me years of learning (as much from customers as the factory) and it's unfair to expect such awareness after 2 months. All criticism is indeed valid, provided the facts are indeed stuck to - bear in mind I could only join up on here once I'd left, as I'd have got a little cross with some of the inaccuracies sometimes posted......!

Fair point but the basics need to be right before anything else. I spent 20 minutes in the new Lotus showroom and outside looking at the used cars a few Saturdays back. Never got approached once or asked my name etc. Might just be me but in my book thats not the way to sell cars.
