Other than we taking a longer way home, we had no problems. Was there something else?

Biggest issue was my lights, I had full beam on from Aviemore all the way home and not one person flashed at me.
On the main roads it wasnt so bad as long as the cats eyes were there, just followed them.

Cheese the car looked great, how did you fair with stone chips? Nothing like Jamies Im guessing? :D

Judging by the missing parts Craig, I'm suprised you didn't take the lights off to make it even more light weight! I reckon your suit would have been the brightest thing the oncoming traffic would see :D

Not to bad at all, I kept falling behind, so chips weren't a problem at all.

I got loads of chips yesterday and tried staying clear of everyone else so was a little worried yours would be the same. You smiled so much it would have been a shame to ruin your day :D

Pete my suit did a great job, bit bright maybe but at least I made it out when another certain SEr chickened out due to the cold :D

Poor Jamie, smashed driving light, smashed rear screen, paint stripped off the clamshell.

He could have used my car-bra which would have prevented two out of the three, but after you lot said that you would not be seen dead in it, I did not offer it to him. Bet he wishes now that I had.

Think you are completely mad, however I would have been as well taking the 2-11 given that Alan's heater doesn't work. At least we would have had a car with decent headlights, I had forgotten how sh*t S1 lights are even on full beam.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing!!

Anyway it's all cosmetics, so never took away from the driving fun! :thumbsup

Was a little nervy just waiting for the back window to fall in down my neck but apart from that it was all good!! :cheers

Good spanners day, glued my interior mirror back on, fitted Scotty's Exige mirror to the offside, fixed the windscreen washers, put the glass rear screen from N1 into N3 and lent Jamie mine, he then washed and cleaned my car, then put in for another War Pension allowance as my shoulders and arms were aching when I got home on Saturday.
