Big thanks to Tut and Verian
Big thanks to Tut and Verian
On behalf of everyone, as one of the few who has done all the Tut Towers events, I would like to thank Tut Verian and family for the superb organization of the track day and whole weekend. It was great to catch up with old faces and put faces to names, and to enjoy the great driving, fantastic food and company, and of couse all the chat and banter !
From a personal view, the drive up from Crieff with Campbell,Alastair and Kelly, and the drive down the backroads to Perth this morning in convoy with Peter in the R8, were some of one of the greatest driving experiences one can have!!
Once again many thanks Tut and Verian - you are both truly legends!!!!!

What they said!
Big thanks to Tut, Verian and family. Thanks also to benny and sanjoy for drinking all the booze, making us all wait, waking us up (twice) and generally being a pain in the ar$e. Was cracking roads and great banter.
Looking forward to future Tut Towers tribute acts unless of course we are there again for Tuts 80th!
Great to see you all and hope to see most of you again soon!

4 hours on track at KH, 850 miles on the best roads in Scotland, amazing weather, 50 other Loti, fantastic food, (too much) booze, and amazing company! Thanks to Tut and Verian for an amazing weekend! I don't know how you do it!
Was great to catch up with everyone we've not seen for a while - the great roads just wouldn't be the same without all the great company! Thanks also to Gavin's mum for the tea and cakes on Saturday

Re: Big thanks to Tut and Verian
My first ever TT and i loved every second of it - even if it was on 2 wheels rather than 4.
Amazing spread last night and quite humbling displays of generosity from the extended Duncan family all of whom i'd only met earlier that day.
managed to clock up 665 miles on the Buell this weekend and i dont mind admitting that im absolutely shattered now.
When's the next one ?

Re: Big thanks to Tut and Verian
Amazing weekend, great to meet more of the SE clan. This was my first TT and I am already praying they'll be more as every second was fantastic even if I did miss the track day as I was still putting my car back together until 9 on Friday night, arrived at FW at mid night and hit the bar in great company and shared a few dram with friends
So Thank you so much all ye TUTs ( Duncan Family) Enjoyed driving up chasing Ian in silly TT, well peddaled and great to meet you bud! And Tut you really are a LEGEND! you must have only had an hour and a half sleep last night but were still in top form this morning and very entertaining last night too
May there be a next one

Re: Big thanks to Tut and Verian
Can I add my thanks to Tut for a brilliant first Tut Towers weekend, wish i could have been at the whole thing but both my son Iain and I had a ball at KH anyway. It was his 24th birthday, KH was his present from me (along with getting him on the 111R insurance for the year)and he said he had had the best birthday ever.
My thanks also to Shug for instructing me more than once and to those giving pax laps. It was really good to begin to put some faces to names.
Sounds like you all had a great weekend, I went to watch a friend doing practise runs at Doune Hillclimb on Saturday morning and then home with sunshine and busy busy roads to Argyll.
Looking forward to meeting up with SE'ers again,
cheers

Re: Big thanks to Tut and Verian
Yes, a big thanks to the Duncan Clan, I know how much effort it takes to organise and keep updating 100+ people, it really is an incredible effort. Everything worked out even the weather was booked, how does Tut manage that?
Unfortunately I had to substitute the exige for German machinery to get to Braemar. The leaking exhaust parted company - possibly something to do with a few unexpected bumps on Sat, and stiffer suspension. But easily fixed. Nice to meet everyone, sorry I'm now almost certain to forget names.
