Have you considered an Android phone? Cheaper alternative to iPhone, with most of the same functionality. I couldn't warrant the cost of the iPhone when it came down to it and getting an HTC Magic from Vodofone I havn't looked back. Some nice Google integration makes it work very well. Battery lasts 2 to 3 days if you manage the apps properly. Don't get me wrong, I'd still love an iPhone but the Android option made good sense after weighing up my options at the time.

I lost my iPhone in the snow today........a dog walker found the phone and I called him. However, had he not found it I would about to deploy "find my iPhone" or did a remote wipe

It's a very nice feature http://www.simonblog.com/2009/06/11/mob ... st-iphone/

The camera seems to perform better after the last iPhone software update which you download through iTunes

Cannot get enough of it personally. I do miss a monster camera like my old Ericsson though

That's 200 quid a yesr in my pocket for simply not having a new phone.
The bold I use does everything I need, calls, sms, mms, email and internet .. Battery life is a good few days ..
An iphone is slicker .. but woule leave me 300 quid a year out of pocket .. Nah .. Nice but not that nice ..
That's about 4000 miles worth of diesel .

Grrr...would only offer me it for £20 per month on my iphone...so contract cancelled...or rather transferred onto pay as you go.
